Now that’s what I like to see.
I love a good wall job.
Nothing (well almost) is better than being out in the fresh air,
the sun at your back, a good stiff fitch in your hand,
watching as you create a masterpiece.
The one thing I don’t care for is painting a white wall directly in the sun…
I about died of sunstroke once high up on a scissors lift
after painting a factory wall for 8 straight hours without a drink or a pee break.
    (not that I needed one)
    Love….Jill

Hullo Nicola, i first measured the complete area which was 40metres x 6 metres, done scale drawing letters worked out at 1200mm in height, i then made cardboard cut out of one of each, letters, by working layout, drew around letters, and painted with a 4 inch brush and smaller brush, to cut in edges,my relative was the one in the photo, who painted the background, he made the tea while i plodded on with this sign, it is in pollokshaws glasgow, think it is still there, dont know thanks JOHN JBS

Nice work, there used to be loads like this kicking around Glasgow but unfortunately most of them are on old buildings which are being pulled down everyday for "modern day" flats.

I’m just round the corner from Pollokshaws so I’ll keep my eyes open for it.
