    Look at the detail in this piece!
    Notice the "chips" 😆
    Joe will add info.
    He has been carving these for years as mirror frames.

    (I believe he soemtimes even adds grafitti on the backs of the bridges!)

    This is a carving on a pine mirror frame…..the image size is about 8″x10″. All the surfaces are carved with single edge tools: chisels, gouges and knives. There is no sanding. All the colors are oil stains that I make. On these pieces I finish with hand rummed laquers.

    And Jill is right….when the mirror glass is installed, you can see the back of the bridge ….perfect for grafitti. JC Loves JW
