This sign has been the vein of my life for the past few weeks, having submitted a quote to the client based on a subcontractors quotation, who then became difficult to contact and arrange to complete the work, we ended up finding an alternative installation team.

The original sign was somewhat unsafe, with nesting pigeons, so a lot of telephone calls, and we finally managed to get it all done before it fell down!

Two full days installing, with the second day going on until 10pm finishing off. The huge bundle of armoured cables that were concealed behind the sign were a surprise, and the installation team had to think of their feet to complete the install.

Overall everybody is happy, and we’re now quoting on more work on the estate.

    Good stuff!

I hate those jobs that over-run thr0ough unforseen circs that are out of your control… I always tell the customer that the final price on installation is subgect to no hidden nasties that will require work -arounds or additional work outside of the remit.
