Halo Effect Lighting Behind Moulded Acrylics
Hi Folk, we have just had a customer ask if we can provide illuminated moulded acrylics with LED lighting providing an Halo Effect, He wants it mounted on Wood but I’m not sure of the final effect on wood. Has anyone done this or can suggest a better material to mount these letters on to get a good effect from the halo lighting, The letters are 10inch and are in Black with Blue LED Illumination,Cheers Andy

To get around this problem on a black background I cut the lettering in silver vinyl about 10mm larger than the letters which then act as a reflector and works very well.

Hey thanks Mike, we spoke to the client last night and I think that would be a good solution. The client now has decided to forget the wood and go with whatever we recommend, what would be the best material to mount this type of sign onto Foamex Perspex Matt Gloss ??
