Yup – you’ve guessed it, it was me.

Please, please it was nothing :blushing:

I’m absolutely delighted to receive this award out of the blue. I’m truly humbled as I’m sure there must have been lots of competition.

Here’s a transcript of the email I received yesterday informing me of my great achievement:-

My name is Danielle and I’m getting in touch to advise you that our awards team have chosen you as a winner in Acquisition International’s 2017 Business Elite awards – the UK

The team here at AI have spent recent weeks assessing the market and thanks to your reputation and impressive track record you have emerged as a clear winner. The awards aim to shine a spotlight on the ongoing work of companies of all sizes working across a variety of sectors.

In order to determine the most deserving of this particular accolade, our awards team take into consideration a wide range of criteria, among them:

Significant achievements from the past calendar year
    Influence within your industry
    Client testimonials and recommendations
    Other accolades won

Your selection entitles you to a free award certificate detailing you as a winner within our 2017 Business Elite awards. You need two trophies, one for the loo at work, and one for the loo at home.

In case anyone is in any doubt this is just a massive con. We never entered any competition, it’s just a means of extracting money out of anyone gullible enough to believe it has any value. A bit like joining the league of master craftsmen..

I would spend the money……just think "Award winning Author" …..sort of has a certain ring to it…..

I bet JK Rowling’s got crystal stuff in one of her loos.
