  • Grenadier Print n Cut adjustment

    Hi All,

I hope someone with more knowledge that uses a Sol-jet or a Grenadier can help me.

Thing is, when I print and cut, my cut line is always off to what the printer has printed. Its not off just a little bit, but in my eyes a lot.

I have tried the print and cut adjustment where the printer prints a scale for the feed and scan. I enter the value that the printer is off. But it never changes a thing. Print another test and its back the same. Its off on the scan of -0.6 but the feed is smack on. I’m fed up of making the cut line correct in the files that I send to the machine.

Help, what can I do to make it cut correct?

How do you get your Grenadier out of "SERVICE MODE PROTECTED"?

that is correct are you sure you are saving the values with the enter key.
first things first do a environment check then a test print then adjustments, then another test print.
that adjustment will set the cut to the print for print and cut only.
there is another adjustment for cut reg to cropmarks which is in the service menu.

    Thanks Chris,

Got it done now. My machine would only save the new settings while in service mode and not just in the normal one, strange. I’m going to calibrate the crop marks next. But thanks again. I got the cut line spot on now.

    :o)
