Graphtec GB upgrades its flagship cutter
The flagship FC8000 plotter/cutter from Graphtec GB has been upgraded and is now available as FC8600 but at no increase in price. The cutter offers a number of productivity enhancements, including Ethernet connection as a standard feature, a much faster activated registration mark sensor within Graphtec’s proprietary ARMS 5.0 (Advanced Registration Mark System) and both Cutting Master 3 and Graphtec Studio software programs as part of the new offering.
The FC8600 now provides higher productivity levels at a maximum speed of 1,485 mm/sec, sustaining the machine’s status as the “fastest in class” plotter/cutter currently available. It provides a maximum cut area of 610mm x 50m, has an enhanced cutting force of 600gf and will cut media up to a thickness of one millimetre.
The ARMS facility claims unparalleled media plotting and cutting accuracy by comparison with any similarly positioned solution via four-point rather than the traditional three-point registration. This contributes to higher and faster productivity levels, greater precision and enhanced ease of use.
