Finally got round to setting up my Graphtec 5000-60 last night, its a rarely used unit about 6 months old so was already set up with respect to depth etc, left the settings on the cutter as they were and just drove it from its old location to my new one.

First bit of minor confusion when going from Corel to cm2 is the job size field, had this set to 30cm x 30cm and the actual cut came out about 13cm which was rather confusing and i cant seem to get to the bottom of it, regardless of what i set job size to, the actual size of the image being cut bears no relation to whats entered into the job size field….

Secondly when cutting a test logo (the monster energy logo for my son) on Corel it looked fine, yet when taken through to CM2 the three squiggles of the logo had lots of white lines inside which were carried through to the cutter as well turning it into a bit of dogs breakfast, again not quite sure whats happening there either, no lines inside the logo in Corel, but lots when i zoom into it in cm2, was a little confused with that one as well, maybe im doing something wrong?

plotter cutting incorrect size normally the step size setting does not match CM2 and plotter. both should be 0.1mm

look at the logo in wireframe and you will see all the lines rubbish file or conversion.

thanks Chris will take look at step size, am wondering that although cutter is set up, obviously the installed software is probably not in sync with it, so thats hopefully the culprit.
