Hi all, Finally bit the bullet and booked myself in on the grafiwrap course next Wednesday and Thursday. Can anyone share any experience they have had on this course?? I’m looking forward to it and when i fly home again i hope I’m capable of starting to learn how to do it the right way and have a better understanding of the capabilities of vinyl in general. Anything i particular i should look out for?? Can anyone point me in the right direction and any tips??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for only getting back now. The course in my opinion was very worth while, i really enjoyed doing it and learned so much (prob things i would of never found out). Doing this course made me realize that i should be the one dictating to the vinyl and where is going. The techniques shown for applying vinyl have really helped me and have put in to practice since i came back. The instructor (James Deacon) is a top fella and not scared to share his knowledge and tell you were our going wrong. I would no doubt go on another course with James for i learned so much from him. I want to take this opportunity to say a very big thanks to him and Grafityp for making my experience very enjoyable. Now i need to start wrapping but taking it slow at the start!!

I agree that you have to be in charge of the vinyl…it knows if you are scared of it and will play you up if you are not the boss!!

Thanks for the reply Nicholas, need to get myself booked in now. Out of interest, did you use one of the B & B’s Joe recommended, if so which one and would you recommend it for the stay.

    Thanks

along with two other girls (syntax is right)
Glad you found the course worthwhile.

I am really thinking about booking on this course and i am glad someone has given good feedback on it. How many people were on the course? Did you get enough hands on time and one to one tuition?

As far as i know, james deacon still does the course, they used to have a max of 4 people but six would be acceptable, but no more.

the course is mainly hands on

Done the course this week, really enjoyed it, a lot to take in in two days but just have to put it into practice and practice plenty now.

Thanks Karl, Just doing bit and pieces at the minute on wrapping but Ive priced a full car and the customer says Ive got it but we will see if he ever appears. Just trying to come up with ideas on how to promote it now.

Bob hope you felt it was worth while. I learned so much them two days and wish I had longer as well on the course. But I just keep wrapping anything I get my hands on so I’ll try and keep it fresh in my head.

Nicholas can I ask what material you are using to practice with, if different from the Grafiwrap are you finding it better, easier, worse whatever.

    Thanks
