What gives a better finish gloss or matt banner material when printing direct with a digital printing using eco sol max inks.

I have been using gloss but next time will try matt.

Quick update: I bought the matt and it’s far better. The ink prints more evenly and give a more even finish.

Media used: Grafiprint SPVCM 1370mm wide. £65.76 a roll (50m)

Yes I agree, the matt banner has got a sheen to it. it does print well.

most banner material require a feed calibration so that you can print the lower res better an eliminate banding 360×720 4 pass bidir should be then be fine.
the matt material tends to hide the banding better than gloss types
