    May not be of interest, but the UK finally paid of the last installment to America, and Canada for the "help" we were given for world war 2

    pheww…. so what debt is next? now that we are on a roll :lol1: :lol1:

    they should have called one of those loan places on the tv that allows you to take out one lump sum, clear all your debts and relax for the next 10000 years as your family, and your families family and so on… keep paying little bits back at a time. :lol1:

    Sorry – that’s not fair – the 2nd world war was a necessary evil. But I’m not convinced that the war in Iraq was justified.

    We paid off our Storey Bridge last year, but they have just re-mortgaged it to pay for new infrastructure 😕 I thought that was what taxes were for 👿
