    hello

it would make a good door stop, and you could also hang your coat on it,
ask your self one question it is a newer model than the egde, so why are spandex not selling them,

    regards

This is a bit like the luxury car market.
First owner takes the big loss and gets rid after a year or so.
Subsequent buyers see something they could never have afforded when newer and go for it.
Then reality kicks in – expensive spares, mega expensive on fuel and horrendous depreciation.
Then of course as the model becomes obselete (as the Maxx2) you can’t get spares or materials.
The one on ebay has been for sale for a while (re-offered for sale).
Ever heard the term "white elephant"?

If you want to go thermal I would check out either the Summa DC4sx or even a Gerber Edge.

    hello

david the max did not even get into the luxury car market, it only gave spandex a very red face, and it did not print it

Stay well clear of the Maxx. I have had nothing but problems since day one with this piece of metal and even Spandex have tried to fix and they couldnt, now i just wish it was gone.

I used a Maxx for quite a while and we had alot of success with it, however it was very temperamental and beset with various problems, but ours worked pretty much non stop and did some good jobs for us. we were very determined to make it work though and didnt give up on it.
I wouldnt buy one though as it was expensive to run and I dont suppose you can get the parts any more.

We bought a Maxx2 when they first came into the UK 4/5? years ago. It has generally worked well for our needs – but real problems with ‘banding’ at the print head edge are a bore (to put it mildly). It’s good that it can print white on clear vinyl (which we do a LOT of!). I’m considering replacing/supporting it with a Mutoh ValueJet 1204 to do our large sized colour work and just keeping the Maxx for small ‘white-out’ jobs (until it dies, then I’ll probably get an Edge for the white work). Anybody want to ship the Maxx over from the Isles of Scilly??
