Firstly a somewhat belated Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to one and all.
Can anybody help me obtain a workshop/service manual for the Gerber Fastrack 650 cutter please, (same as the Mutoh CS650 I think).
I bought the machine at an auction about 3 years ago, put it up the corner with a sheet over it and forgot about it.
I rediscovered it during the Christmas break and would love to give it a full service and get it running.
It has a strange looking mechanism on the left hand side of the cutting head and I’m not sure if it’s all there or not, think it may need another blade for sheet cutting.
I already have the user manual but not the workshop manual.

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Cheers

    Steve

If you go to http://www.gspinc.com you can log on to their support and download manuals, software updates and other useful info.

It’s an SC650. Not sure Spandex or Mutoh would have ever supplied a workshop manual?

You could drop an email to Mutoh in Belgium to see what they may be able to send you. Their site has PDF’s for the operating instructions. I guess that is the same as you already have?

Anyway you can contact them here…

Hi Steve I got your message but can’t reply with my membership.

Brian is correct it’s a Mutoh SC650. I’m not sure if the Gerber has different firmware though. The unit does have a sheet slitter on the side of blade holder.

Errors are reported by combination of LED’s.
The sheet slitter can throw up an error if it’s not in the correct position.
Also the microswitch on the cover can cause an error.

The Eproms can loose settings which also stop the machine from going to the ready state.

    Does the unit fire up??

    Tim.

The strange looking thing that looks as it has something missing will be the pen holder for plotting.
Full manual available from the website the others have supplied.

Wow, sorry about the delay getting back to you guys, just kept getting a negative response everywhere and forgot about this post.
So thanks for your efforts Frank, Brian Tim and Chris, it looks like I will just have to go for it without the manual.
    Thanks again
    Steve
