i recon i know “sorta” why paul. but of not for plates, why this route?

Well 2 reasons:

1) Signs and stickers ~ We supply loads of car dealerships and this could be a handy “add-on”.

2) Plates – We all know the issues with the requirement to print white behind colours ( due to yellow reflectives changing the colour ) and we make 100’s a day…Maybe gerber can solve this ?

Don;t get me wrong our current systems are great, but this i believe would give us more options ? – metallics etc

I purchased one last year and its earining its keep every day, would i buy another one….. yes but not from Spandex. Crap installation service and even worse after sales.

I think spandex are the only suppliers, Untill recently, they gave exeptional service. Have a few issues with them recently, just hope they sort it, for their own sake.

The Gerber Edge is only sold new in the UK by Spandex who are a subsidiary of Gerber. It has it’s advantages and it’s drawbacks so better to ask the advice of an informed, non biased person. You’ll find a few on this board but also on some other signboards

im not sure if it was edited peter, wasnt by me or carrie so ill have to check with others. however, if you look at bottom of post, the system tells you who edited it & when. so unless the system has a glitch there is your answer 😀

Paul, that guys a little closer the us, we are in the South West. Perhaps you could take up Geoz offer and have a look over the machine, ours is the Edge 1 with a P2 PC with Gerber Advantage and the Gerber Sprint setup. Plenty of films everywhere!
