Fun & Informative Open day hits the mark!

William Smith’s recent Open Day: Did you Know? proved an even greater success than previous events and hit the mark with visitors.
“I was more impressed than I expected to be; William Smith is a lot bigger than I thought. It has opened my eyes to what William Smith does: for example, I hadn’t been aware of Stylos fingerposts, the roll-slitting service and the road sign service, which is something we’re likely to use in the future.” commented Adam McGuire of Signedby.
Over 150 customers from across the UK came to the company’s Barnard Castle site to test their knowledge and find out more about the whole range of help and support available from William Smith.
As well as guided tours and hands-on vehicle wrapping demonstrations throughout the day, visitors had the chance to talk to product suppliers and see William Smith’s own manufacturing and fabrication processes in action. Completing the offering was a series of seminars designed to provide useful tips, tactics and techniques on See-Through Graphics, Social Media Marketing, How to Sell a Vehicle Wrap, Effective Traffic Signs, and How to Wrap it Right.
“It’s good to see such an array of people, and a good layout. The technical aspects of traffic signage is an area I found particularly interesting,” said Justin Pearce of Signs Express (Head Office)

First-hand information and insight pushed the right buttons for Push Design and Print’s Bradley van Beuge: “It has been especially interesting talking to materials manufacturers and suppliers and getting an insight in relation to some of the projects that we are currently doing.”
Summing up the Open Day Andrew Campbell and Keagan Renaud from CN Signs said: “ It has been great, good fun and really informative. We attended all the seminars. We hadn’t realised how much William Smith does and the areas they cover. William Smith is simply a great company; and the employees seem happy, friendly and enjoy working here.”
