All went rather well.
It was the first trough light of this type I’d put up as well.

Looking good Paul, who did you use for the trough lighting ?

Trough light from universal aluminium. Nice light easy to fix, but could not for the life of me get the flex through the hole provided anywhere near the grub screws to connect it. Ended up drilling my own hole and putting a grommet in it.
Stainless letters and cross from Vince at Bespoke. Haven’t seen him on the boards for ages.
Got all the holes drilled from the template and fixed letters and applied vinyl on a Sunday afternoon and then two of us travelled up to London and got it all fixed up in a day.
Have been given about eight jobs to quote for the shopfitting company we did this for off the back of this job.

I think he’s hiding from me- I suffered the worst service in my entire carreer from that guy, a few weeks ago 👿
Nice job though Paul, glad your busy maybe we’ll get that beer in one day 😀

Glad you got the fitting sorted.
Should look really good with the downlighter on – the 3D & shadows will really make it ‘pop’.
Was surveying a job today with a white background and thought about stainless but dismissed mirror/polished because of the weird reflections might make the sign disappear in bright sun. More likely to go for brushed/linished…not sure though 😕 Do you see any potential problems with your installation? (Granted the shop purchaser isn’t likely to see it or complain, especially at this time of year!!)
ps. I buy my St/Stl lettering from Centre Signs – good stuff & never have any bother….maybe not the cheapest though. http://www.centresigns.co.uk/
