    Hi,
Does anyone know of a suitable material to use in a commercial fridge unit as used in shops to display dairy goods? The material runs along the length of the unit approx 1900mm and is 115mm deep. The kind of stuff you can apply lettering to, although the old stuff in this case was blank. It is only 1mm thick so not sure if there is an acrylic that would do. It needs to be flexible as it is bent and fitted into channels top and bottom.
This sounds very complicated, but hopefully someone will know what I mean 🙄

    Thanks,

    Jim McManus

Yes, polycarbonate….. try a google on walk in fridges/freezers, it’s where I came across it when I was involved in catering; they often mentioned ‘food grade’ material, but I think this was just a ruse to get you to buy the stuff from them, can’t see how normal polycarbonate would not be considered ‘food grade’ anyway.
