  • Free Graphics Software (for a charity)

Had a lady (from a very good and extremely broke charity) in this morning, basically she is looking for some free graphics software that will allow her to do ‘better’ than average posters and graphics. Anybody got any ideas, X3 might be a bit advanced 😀 😀

You can pick up old issues of Corel Draw for peanuts on fleabay. You might get Corel 8 for a fiver!

Maybe one of the graphics packages in this would do the trick.

I’ve not tried them out personally..yet.

Failing that there a loads of freebie, shareware & trial version out there.

Thanks lads, Corel might be too steep a learning curve for this lady, I’ll try some of your suggestions David.
    Cheers

I have some old copies of QuarkXpress and Illustrator.
    Fully boxed and unregistered.
Mac only, but she can have a copy of each if they are
    any good to her.

    Cheers,
    Jamie.

Many many thanks for the offer Jamie, but she has a PC, anyway I think I have her sorted. Cheers for the offer though.
