we have accumulated many thousands of fonts over the years, from different packages. Latest windows updates block many old fonts and they cannot be losded. win95 and win98 machines can still read them. Anyone with a fix ?.
    Moral – dont update!.

windows does not like more than about 800 fonts in its folder, it slows down performance and uses memory, try and get hold of a font management prog if you need to get access to more fonts without using resources coral has one but there are freeware versions on the web if you search.
