Top looks like a hideous badly spaced nasty form of Commercial Script.
    Middle is Chainlink or Chaney.
Neither of these fonts go together, and especially not with the
    Hellvetica on the bottom.
    Please fix this up right!
    My eyes are bleeding.

The closest I could find was Snell for the main one and as chris said Serppentine of some sort for the bit below

Keep em commin if anyone has any other suggestions.

    Hi Paul

We did these cards – he supplied the design – but as I remember it is Comm Script quite modified – I think we actually just vectorised what he gave to us. It wasn’t a huge order, so I didn’t spend as much time on them as I would have done if it was a vehicle, but I can supply you with the Signlab file if you want.

    Regards

Sorry for being so snotty (apologies to Brian too 😳 )
Hey, I get em too, and when I’m broke I usually just do as asked.
(i still do clean things up, because i don’t want folks thinking i did bad work)
But lately I have been getting customers who trust my judgement.
And sometimes I charge MORE to do customer-supplied artwork.
    Love…Jill 😉

    Hi Brian

I’ve just altered a snell font that was close enough

But I would be interested in how much you charge for the plastic business cards.

    PM me if you like.

    Thanks for everyones help

The problem with this customer was that his friend had designed his logo for him and he thought it was wonderful – all he could give me was a small bad quality copy. The reason I didn’t spend too much time on it was that it was only for a small order of hot foiled business cards, where we are talking very little profit – this is just a sideline for us, not our main business. If it was going to go on vehicle or sign, I would have spent a lot more time on it.

Believe me I have had to produce a lot worse than this and I like to think I have produced an awful lot better of my own designs too.

I must admit I prefer it when someone comes in with a basic idea of what they want and you can expand on this for them.

At the end of the day though, its all down to personal choice. You can recommend this to high heaven, but it doesn’t mean the paying customer will agree.

    Paul

Sorry tried to email you but it wouldn’t let me for some reason – if you let me have your address I’ll send price list and samples of plastic business cards.
