Font disappearing from font folder.
This is partly a windows question and partly Corel. I am using Corel 12 and Corel X4. I started my business about 2 years ago and only used Corel12. I had a font called Black Chancery installed and made some t-shirt designs with it. About one year ago I installed X4. Black Chancery has suddenly disappeared from my font file. Any idea why??
The second strange occurrence is with a font called Boister Black. Its a T1 type font. I used it in X4 and then saved the file as Corel 12. Opened it in 12 and the font wont open. The rest of the design is there but no text. Two months ago when I made the design the text opened in 12, now it doesn’t. To get around this I convert to curves but its very strange. Any ideas why this is happening??
I have to use Corel 12 because my cutter wont run with X4.

I sometimes find for some reason that some of my fonts when I load them title themselves with a bunch of numbers instead of a name. On some fonts if you save a font to disc to put on another computer the original file is actually transferred to the disc and not copied. I then re-install from the disc to hard drive and Roberts your fathers brother!

i’ve had font issues with corel recently too, i wondered if it had been an update or something but even reverting back to original factory install it’s not right.
the fonts show fine in the fonts folder (windows) but don’t show in corels font drop down, in the original location of the files (download folder) they only show as an unrecognised file icon 😕
