Foamex Board Material Problem????
Hi, I had a call from a customer a few months ago that a couple of foamex signs I supplied had ‘melted’. They have just dropped them back in with me to have a look.
It is vinyl mounted on foamex. The job was for a few boards but the problem is only with two of them.
Has anyone else experienced any thing like this before?
Any idea of the cause?

Yup – that’s what happens when Foamex signs are facing into the sun or behind a pane of glass. Particularly when they have a dark coloured background. They melt. You should have used composite Aluminium instead.
