    Hi Guys,

Going to be flood coating a shop front window, and also the door which has glass.. I have the measurements, but im thinking of cutting the film on the plotter so i don’t need to trim once it’s applied as i can never trim straight/neatly by hand..

Im thinking of cutting the vinyl 2mm shorter than the actual glass, would that suffice? need some opinions from people that have done similar before..

    Thanks!

    NO…
your eye alignment will NEVER be accurate enough.
best advice i can give you is to cut the vinyl "exactly" the size you require.
    fit it then trim it.
that is coming from someone that fits 100% dry application, one go one hit…
if you are applying wet you should have zero issues because you will have multiple goes at laying and re-applying.

trimming is the easy part, you just have to learn how.
