    Lee,
    its not a good idea to openly try and copy someones work.
    There are many flag vectors available. try istock they have quite a few and only a couple of quid

    So if i get a image from this site and i get a vector one will it cut or will it need something else doing to it first.

    Lee the vectors usually are ready to cut, in ai or eps format.
    you may need to tweak a bit for your particular use, but normally not a problem.

    Took your advice the other day and ordered impact outlines.
