Fittting frosting to an old curved window pane
Morning all
I need to fit some frosting to some windows but I’m a bit wary of a few certain panes.
I can deal with the flat panels but there are a few of the curved ones and I don’t think the frosting will stick.
Here is an image of the pane in question.
Ideas?

Depending how subtle the etch…a matt laminate might work if you have any. Alternatively one of the silly priced cast 3M ones and heat it in.

i might consider possible spray etch paint seams to be plenty about

I don’t think spray is an option here.
I’m going to get an image of graphic and maybe I could do it in a cast material.

Are the backs flat or curved like the front?

I think you can get a cast or decent polymeric etch film. probably William smiths will be able to help advise you on a decent window film.
your problem is going to be the heat your applying to stretch and cure the vinyl to the glass in these temperatures. you could easily crack the window.

This is my thought, these are old windows and i think I’ll either crack the window or keep cracking the vinyl. Either way I think I’ll pass at the moment
