Hi we have been asked to install large contour cut speech bubbles (roughly 1.2 meters x 1.2 meters) to painted plasterboard walls. They will be floor height so need to be flush to wall to avoid catching as people walk past. We have been asked as little damage as possible on removal so have been debating VHB tape, although just worried the areas of the panels without tape behind may sag. please help??

They won’t sag but I’m not sure about the lack of damage. Does it have to be on board, could it not just be vinyl if the customer doesn’t want damage?

vinyl isn’t a great option as it could take a huge area of the paint off when the customer decides to take it down, and it is not a smooth paint job so the vinyl will show any imperfections. Think I may just offer the customer both options (screws or vhb tape) and tell her pro’s and con’s of each and let her decide!
