I have some experience using a gerber GSX15 from spandex this cutter needs a dongle and omega software can some one recommend and give me any pointers on the fast track plotter does it have a fraction or tractor feed what sort of vinyl does it use is it good enough to run a small home business.

A gerber Fastrack is a re-badged Mutoh SC series.

It’s the software that will need the dongle not the cutter. Just about any software should run it, Omega, Flexi, Signlab & the cheaper ones too.

….sorry it’s a friction fed machine, not sprocketed. A good machine if you can get it at a good price. Don’t forget you will need some software though!

I have only used the gerber software.

I know the software needs the dongle is there software you listed dont need the dongle.

The Omega software any one is using the version 2.0 on the fast trek

All the leading Sign Making Softwares require a Dongle. And a good job too. If you buy won’t that doesn’t have one then it’s almost certainly a cracked copy & you won’t get much help with it here.
