Finally gone self employed in Aberdeen!
After being in the trade for over 10 years now I can finally say I’ve chased the dream and committed to going self employed. It’s something I’ve been wanting to pursue for years and now over the moon to actually achieve it, lets just hope it pays off. Originally from Aberdeen, I spent 7 years there working in and around that area before moving to Cumbria and spending 3 years down there working nationwide and even internationally! Now it’s time to move back home to Aberdeen and give the self employment a crack.
I’ve been a keen viewer of this website over the years but never really offered much in return, I’m hoping to change that now and offer any advice that I hope will help and vice versa. I’ve also noticed on the odd occasion that people have been looking to sub contract work in Aberdeen to have no replies, I’ll be happy to help out anyone who needs it in the future.Many thanks! :smiles:

Good luck Stewart. Best thing about being self employed is you choose your own hours. Worst thing is you choose your own hours.

Thanks for the post and updating us on how things have developed for you over the years.
I think its great to read you are now going out at it alone. I remember when you attended one of our wrapping course years ago now. From memory you paid out your own pocket even though employed. I thought that was very admirable of you at the time as all you were trying to do was push your ability to apply vinyl and wrap. this followed by only your second wrap since attending our courses and you jumped in head first with this Audi R8.
