I usually backup my files and system once a week and for a long time now have used Windows Backup but as I get more and more on the machine it becomes a long drawn out process. I copy to an external drive. It’s seems sensible to back up the whole system at some stage, I also copy individual directories of important files separately.
Are there more efficient ways to do the job? Is there another program that I can use?

I use File Backup http://www.fileback-pc.com on my last server… was really pleased at the flexability

I also never use Windows Backup, I had bad experiences with it.
