Fast food photos CD with standard set meals – advice on idea
Hello all
I often get asked by fast food places with the backlit light boxes (plus Indian restaurants and the like) for photos but quite specific in their content. i.e 5 chicken nuggets, drink and 21 fries. Hamburger, 23 fries and a drink, cod, fries, drink with pickled egg (you get the idea) etc etc. I’ve been looking but can’t seem to find a cd anywhere with such images on so was considering commissioning a mate (professional product photographer) to work with me putting a cd together with standard set meals and singularly as psd files so they can be altered if need be. Is this the kind of thing that other sign makers would find useful or am I wasting my time do you think? Just looking for guidance before I commit really !
Searching stock libraries is a pain and more often than not don’t have exactly what I want.
Hopefully I’ve posted in the right section – apologies if not.

I’ ve got a food CD which I think is an ingrams one, has pretty much the kind of stuff you are talking about on it Lee, sure others will have it or something similar as well. They do exist but take a bit of finding lol

I doubt you will ever find a 100% perfect picture for your customer as they serve slightly different items from place to place.
we get asked to
change the hash browns for an extra sausage
change the colour of the cup to blue
can you fill the cup to the brim
can you change the garden peas to mushy peasI always say if you want me to get a phot of what you want if stock photos does suit your needs you need to cook every meal so I can photo it.
Nobody has every said yes.
Its all about comprimise

Does anyone know anyone that does a CD of dog pictures. More specifically, of a pink poodle looking off to the right on a white background with a diamond studded dog collar?
Me neither…but I have a customer that seems to assume I will have access to pictures like this 😕
