This is the first of 18. I am doing these signs for the golf course
of which i am a member. There is a bit of work involved as they
are all different. Different hole, different name,
different stroke indexes, different yardage, &
different advertiser on each tee box.
Any suggestions as to what would be a fair price to charge.
Just the vinyl lettering as the club purchased the signs.

im with nik of amendmants mate, would also scale the whole watchers sign down by about 10-15%, still nice work and tidy.
price.. unsure, im not the pricing giy in our place but 40p each letter and multiply by amount of letters should give a fair price.

Looks good mate… Agree with the top panel looking squashed up.

One thing that does concern me, and i’ve seen a few on here, doing jobs without giving a price.. I can see some coming unstuck big time, ordering all that material cutting it all to size and then the client says,” that too dear, i don’t want it”,
Your all leaving yourself wide open, even if the client is a trusted Friend.

That’s a good point Simon, I had noticed it too, but presumed they were just asking as a comparison and had already quoted for the job.

I always quote before hand, then proof, before anything is ordered.

If I’m supplying the plate & post signs plus the graphics and the groundworks/installation then I’ll charge between £4k – £6k for a set of 18, including 1 annual change of the sponsors logo. This would be for a 2 plate system – top plate with printed map of the ground and yardage info, bottom plate with cut or printed vinyl to suit sponsor

As for your vinyl only then it’s got to be on a time and materials basis?

    Cheers
