Ive been buying from easystands.com for some time now… buy various stands in, but often get the budget roll-up stands in with 6 in a box. come with shoulder bag etc too… cost only £15 each.
i put the budget ones back out at about £150+vat each (customer supplying artwork)… obviously you can do them a bit cheaper but that’s the standard price on the budget model… ill knock a bit off for multiples or if it secures a sale coupled with other signage.
i buy my grey backed roll up material "gloss" from europoint display. best quality and best price i have found.we also do all the better quality stands with overhanging lights, double sided, rotating etc, but depends on customer needs and style of stand before we can quote on that. but as i said, we generally start at the £150+vat mark… hope this helps.

Roll up stands are great. Print trim, tape in and your done. Apart from printing about 15 minutes work.
One lesson I learnt quick is don’t take out the pin from the base until you have taped in the insert. 😀

thanks guys, great help, im not looking forward to doing the 3×3 pop up, but you make the roll ups sound easy.

You’ll be fine. I did my first roll up the second day we had our versacam. I just printed with the generic vinyl 1 profile at highest quality the first time around. Now I just use normal.
Enjoy your new printer.

Pop-ups are a pain in the arse, and for what they cost, I think people can get a lot more effective displays, but that’s another thing
Roller banners are piece of cake. Just do make sure that whoever is doing the artwork lays it out right. I’ve lost count of the number of times people have not put bleed on the bottom, or put text into the bleed area. Some people just don’t listen!
And, we’ve taken to putting a couple of staples into the band that sticks to the graphic – we’ve had a few come back where the tape has come unstuck (not usually ones we’ve made, but other mechanisms that customers have had made eleswhere) -
Mike the ones I’ve seen destroyed and when the client doesn’t correctly pull the banner correctly out or lets it go, instead of letting it roll back in, in a controlled fashion. You can tell because the edges of the insert are all damaged.
