  • Exhibition and Press Conference Backdrop Ideas please?

Posted by Martin Lemiesz on 10 May 2017 at 21:05

    Hi

The client requires a budget option for a press backdrop – we would normally sell them something like pvc banner tension frame such as pegasus from ultima but this time they have 8m to cover and ideally need this in 2 max 3 sections – could any of you suggest trade supplier of such frame and print?

    Thank You Kindly

Printed on the blackout fabric they just stretch it over a wooden frame, looks much better than PVC, and no reflection off the lights etc.

    Good afternoon.
I would like to use this thread instead of making a new one as my question is similar.

    I have Mutoh ValueJet 1625.
    I have 1600 laminator.
I start to get a lot of inquiries for conference backdrop.

Can you give me some ideas please:
Conference Backdrop that client will put up himself.
Conference Backdrop that I will install for my client.

The only important thing here is that I want to make it from scratch or buy a some kind frame and then rent it out.

My hiccups are: I don’t have banner welder
    I cannot do 1 piece of 2000 x 3000mm print without join.
What are my options? Any ideas are much appreciated as I’m struggling with inspiration.

Can somebody please tell me what printing media is used for this?

    Thanks in advance.

+1 for all the juicy details. Currently putting ours out to Ultima.

That would be pop up material! Usually a grey back material around 300 micron with a heavily textured crystal laminate, most of the usual suspects will have a version for solvent and aqueous print processes.

Paper Graphics do a range of this type of thing for Roll-up stands and Pop-up stands. the pop-up material being the heavier grade. Make sure you buy one compatible with your printer.

While 300micron is okay, we use 500micron for all pop-up displays, greater rigidity.
