Estate Agent window boards
Posted by Marcella Ross on 28 October 2010 at 11:42Can anyone tell me where to get the ‘V’ shaped boards estate agents use on windows? The folded correx type ones?

quote Marcella Ross:The folded correx type ones?
Marcella…. Fold the correx ! 😉
seriously though… better getting an 8×4 sheet, only costs about £7. couple of slits, folds and "bobs yer transexual auntie" 😉
how these are fixed im unsure. glass suckers you can get from B&Q but not going to last…
we use glass clamps purposely for estate agent signs. but cost more than the sign itself.
estate agents often use a flat piece of correx and then a piece of wood wedge between the concrete window parameter to hold the board in place.

I know what you’re saying Rob but my guy has asked specifically for the ones he’s seen …… and I was never a Blue Peter fan so doubt I’d do them with my sticky backed plastic and egg cartons lol!
I did suggest to him about just folding the correx but he’s got it into his head he wants the ones he’s seen.

You got a photo Marcella, we used to make these using our paper guillotine swapped over with a piece of perspex to crease em.Might have some blanks lying about. We used suckers from Moss Plastics and a bit of wire to secure it to a window if the suckers fail(they are just a temporary thing)
