I have been sent an .eps file from a client which is their company logo. The image is a combination of vector drawn and rendered images.

I decided to create a series of contours around each component of the logo so that I could print and cut it.

My problem is that when I re-save the file after drawing the contours – (by exporting as an .eps file from corel draw) the image prints at a much lower resolution (i.e is much more pixellated) then if I simply print the original .eps file.

    What am I doing wrong?

Seems that CorelDraw imports it at 72 dpi even if it starts out at 300 dpi, if you import it into Photopaint it stays at 300dpi, you could try changing to a bitmap in Draw and set it to 300 dpi?

in the export filter there is the option to change the dpi of bitmaps contained in the file. as it is exported.
