    hi all,

i’ve been asked to make a sign for a local angling club / port authority, it is to be fixed to a concrete harbour wall, giving information to anglers and the general public,

being on a sea wall, and being subject to nasty weather conditions ( storm force gales and waves splashing over are nasty..trust me ! ) it needs to be impervious to water, and also from the local hooligans,

i have come up with a basic design, 2x treated timber frames, hinged, the rear frame being bolted to the wall, and the foremost frame closing up to it (to hide the fixings) with a perspex cover, i had considered covering it with anti grafiti film too (how good is this stuff ? does it need replacing or does it just clean of ?). the outer frame wuold have a ali angle frame which would cover the joins, another problem i have is how to lock it ?

it would be easier to buy a frame, does anyone make anything like this ? the wall is only 5ft high, so it needs to be strong enough to not be kicked in !

any ideas, or links to suitable suppliers would be very much welcomed,

    thanks.

    Hugh
