1 x Sealed Roll of 36" Paper – Calon II DPF 4500G White Arlon Print media
2 x Paper loading rolls. Sensors attached to printer.

Powers up ok and passes self test. – Not tested further.

    Hi Adam

never had one although we did have the encad novajet 750 okay machine but did get a lot of carriage errors, very susceptible to dust on the data ribbon or the carriage bar. we had another branch who had the vinyljet, as i recall it was very very slow but i guess it depends what you want it for and how much it is for sale

    cheers

    Martin

Hmm Maybe not then! I want to get an affordable printer cutter, so I can widen my product list etc. I’d like to be able to offer printed vinyl etc. Anyone have any suggestions on a good (budget) machine? Or know of a second hand one anywhere?

    Regards,

    Adam

look for an old Roland machine or the mimaki’s; try Applied Image Technology – Stuart Cole 07900 683412
I found him helpful in the past although i didn’t buy from him, i know they frequently have second hand machines. also try local liquidation specialists, i am sure there will be a few knocking around them as well

Stay away from that machine Adam!
Encad/Kodak discontinued it for good reason. And, since it’s been discontinued, in the near future it will be difficult, if not impossible, to get materials, supplies and replacement parts for it.
I also recall reading a lot of horror stories about the machine. Besides being very slow, it wasn’t very reliable and the quality of the finished product was less than desireable.
