I bought an encad Novajet 36 last year and have never had it running correctly. I bought a set of print heads of Ebay but they were crap.

I have been told that the printheads are £100 for a set that works. But am I just wasting good money after bad? I was going to use it for canvas prints but it is only 300dpi So I dont even no what the quality will look like.

    Thanks for your help.

when you say the cheep ones were no very good how do you mean.

4 colour 300dpi prints are at the lower end of quality for fine art type prints. also you must run pigmented type inks not dye.
i used to have a similar machine which i hated.
so for that type of work i would give up on it

When I say no good I mean that you could never get all the jets to fire there was always some missing no matter how much you primed them etc, Some onelse I know had the same problem with the same heads. I cleaned them numerous times (days)

I was hoping it would work ok for canvas as its a nice and wide. We also have an HP 7800 and that is so easy to use.

It’s now on ebay for sale
