    Ok Guys,

In my quest to upgrade my RIP from photoprint 5SE to 6dx a experienced sales tech has offered me a package to replace my original rip with Ergo soft Poster Print, this will also include spending a day writing profiles to suit.

According to the tech ,this Rip has more features than Photoprint and more cost effective overall to purchase. Also production efficient when tiling, nesting and importing multiple files into one print layout.

Has anyone had any experience with Ergo soft Poster Print and has it been a reliable ,stable and efficient rip program to use ?

    Appreciate your feedback,

    Cheers,
    PJ

I have experience with poster print v10 by ergosoft that was used to drive a mimaki TX2.
OK v10 is an old version by now but it was very stable, and easy to set up and easy to use, i had no problems with it.

We have poster print v14. Seems okay …had some issues recently with automatic colour replacement. But apart from that no major issues so far.
