• Edge software

Afternoon all – I’ve a friend who’s willing to sell me his Gerber Edge and GX-15 which he no longer uses, but I’ll need some software to drive it

I’ve got some old Gerber Advantage software (c/w dongel on a windows ’95 machine) which I bought second hand when I started up a few years back and now use as is a back up. I’m familiar with and like both Advantage and Omega software.

Are there any other options to run the Edge? (I prefer Corel these days for most of my usual work)
Is my only option to buy a version of Spandex software? 😕

Signlab / Cadlink did a version called ‘print & cut thermal’ many years ago.

Not sure if it drove it directly – company I worked for years back had the software and a Gerber One.

    Ah…just looked online.

Hen’s teeth in the used market I’m guessing…

We use sign lab to run the edge, hubby could never get on with omega.

It’s a module that gets added on to the sign lab package, so not every sign lab works.

Speak to cad link they will tell you more.

Many thanks both – I’ll see what they’re asking for it currently (and make sure I’m sitting down first) 😀
