Edge not working
Hi guys, my edge1 has decide not to comunicate with me anymore (hot) The paralel cable was loose and I pushed it in while it was switched on and the printer beebed a few times and now all jobs sent to it come up with errors and won’t print.
Any suggestions, as Spandex did not get back to me, what a supprise!

change your parallel cable, look behind your old fashioned invoice printer… to be quite honest I have no idea if your parallel cable is a match so proceed with caution.

Phil, I only buy quality gear, so I am looking at the Mimaki JV3 :lol1: but it still can’t print the Gold I need.
Thanks Stevo, I have tried that. Just wondered if plugging the parallel cable in while switched on has done some damage?

Went in this morning, switched on, all OK, few.
Must have been one of those electrical weard days, as my laser printer also went on the blink and the cutter cut strangely.
