How much does an blank 8ft banner cost?
Would you buy a sign from a guy who can’t spell ‘exhibitions’? 😀

I’d pay about 16 quid for a blank banner that size. Maybe he’s got a load of bankrupt stock or something. Seems too cheap to be true.

$10 for a printed 8′ banner?
That guy must want to go broke REAL fast.
Did you check out the “thank you” banner?
He must like negative space!
I pay more than that for the damn blank!
I also charge about $100 for the printed one.
Never fear, I’m sure that in about 3 months, his plotter
and software will be on eBay for cheap too.

So if it goes for £10 with free postage it would be worth bidding and asking for it to be sent blank.

Did anyone notice the price of his A boards, £30 fully lettered on both sides with free delivery. I thought a blank A board was dearer than that to buy from suppliers
-
I said $10 not £10….that’s more like $20 here.
A really good banner blank might cost that.
But I doubt he’s usuing quality schtuff.
Altho the banner looks like a 14# one not a poly-banner.
I use Bandanna/Banana banner, the kind that comes in a long roll
and is double-grommeted so you simply cut the needed length.

Doesn’t a good quality A board cost around £80 – £100, then i’d expect to add £50 for lettering it.
His look pretty flimsy, they blow over in the wind by the looks of it.

the prices i guess are a starting bid.
what grade these banners really are is different matter altogether. banner material come in various grades and the cheap are cheap crap.
he states 5-7 year vinyl? so hes using regular calender vinyl. which is not supposed to be used for banners at all. it will curl up and crack & peel in a mater of days/weeks.
even if he uses proper banner vinyl the life’s only a couple of years.personal I would stay clear.
his A-board is a metal with folded sides. no frame work at all!
then i guess powder coated. i have saw this type, and for cheap alternative they are NOT the worst. but would really only advise these in shopping malls and the like. i think any real wind will blow it over.
£30 is the starting bid though, and I would not pay anymore than that for it anyway.personally, I wpuld steer clear of buying over the net for this sorta thing.
looking at what your getting is very different from what you actually get.
if you are happy with buying via net, then the boards are good for a budget type “A” board sign. -
if you scroll to bottom of the page the buy it now price is £60.00
which is poss but not much in it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
