    Hi All,

Now I’ve always used the glue on type of plastic locators on the back of Foamex 3D letters & find them incredibly easy to use. Just glue the male part to the letter backs, turn the letter over & lay them onto the template & the little spike marks the template to show where to drill & fit the female part. Simple!

By mistake yesterday I ordered the “both side screw” version!🙁 But I then thought ahh well maybe I can still use them instead rather than sending them back. But I then thought, how do these work? Obviously, you just use a flat or pan head screw to fix to the back of the letters, but then how do you mark the template?? No spike just a screw head!

So I called the supplier feeling sure they would have the answer, & maybe I was just being dim & there was something quite simple I was missing. But alas no, they really couldn’t help other than suggesting I swap for the glue on’s.

I can only presume that you need to use a dab of paint or something similar?

Can anyone enlighten me on these or does everyone use the glue on’s for this very reason?

    Regards

    Myles
