Would that have been in 1993 Robert?
That was when we had the big 6.7 at 3am, Martin Luther King Day. Talk about your rude awakenings in the middle of the night. We had one aftershock after another in the months following that one, some of them pretty big.
Lost a ceramic candle holder to this latest one, that’s all. Lost a brick chimney to the one in ’93.

    quote Kimberley Edwards:

Yee Ha! Earthquake in Los Angeles, just now. I’m guessing it was a 5.5. Good little shake. 😕 😀 😕

    Rob, you were lucky, 😀

Kimberley it depends where you were sitting at the time 😀

Seriously, I hope no one was hurt though

    That’s funny.

I pulled a prank on my man – he was at work less than 2 miles away when it hit, and as soon as the shaking stopped the phone rang. I knew it was him so I picked it up and very calmly said "hello."
He asked if everything was alright, and I said sure, why?
The earthquake, the earthquake didn’t you feel the earthquake???
What, what do you mean earthquake? I was just standing here doing the dishes – there hasn’t been any earthquake – kept him going like that for a bit.
It’s very possible to miss the majority of our earthquakes if you’re doing so much as walking or sleeping (we have approx 10,000 a year), but this wasn’t one of those kind – it would have been pretty hard to miss this one. One of these days California will crumble into the sea as Steely Dan said and the :vomit: Republicans :vomit: will throw a big celebration.

these were all during the day. i remember the first one because we were at our cousins out there and my older brother was sunbathing/reading in the back of my uncles pickup. when it struck he shouted at me to stop shaking the truck… :lol1: i shouted its not me you idiot and ran indoors… :lol1:
soon after it came on the TV giving the reading etc two more followed but were not as bad… thank god! 😕 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
