Hi, does anyone know of a place you can send your print heads to, so they can give them a professional clean. I’m talking about missing nozzles, not entire heads gone. I’ve seen the print head Doctor advertisements in the US, but its a lot of money for something used very rarely.

If ultrasonically cleaned is there a best practise method?, cleaning solution to use? How long should they be cleaned for? Will the rank number wash off?

Does anyone here own a print head doctor and would be willing to do our heads for a fee?

    Many thanks
    Jamie

I’ve never seen any good results from this to be honest. The idea (I believe) is to put them in an ultrasonic bath and then fire the nozzles. I did buy a bath to try it myself but didn’t fancy the idea of firing the heads like that. Maybe I’ll try it one day….

I thought about buying one & offering a service to other people a few years ago but read quite a lot of bad reports about them which put me right off the idea, biggest problem was nozzle deflection if I remember rightly.
