  • Dry wipe Boards suggestions please

    Hi Everyone.

BBQ weather, got the wine in the fridge ready for tonight….. Happy Bunny. 😀

Anyway, a customer has asked for printed posters which they can use a marker pen on, then wipe clean and use again.

I think it`ll be easier to flood foam board with printed vinyl then lam.

My question is, will ordinary laminate be OK with a dry wipe pen, or is there another product more suitable for the job?

    Thank you x

    Hi Denise
We use the Metamark Dry Wipe laminate. Have also used a Mactac one but prefer the Metamark.

    Cheers

Just make sure the customer uses the right flavor pens :lol1: :lol1: Don’t know if they still do but they use to come as a waterbased or solvent based marker pen & one of them (sorry can’t remember which) was difficult to remove from laminate.

regular vinyl’s, laminate etc i think holds the ink if left on the board for a few days before being removed. As has been said though, we use Metamark for this sorta thing, same with blackboard vinyl or dry-wipe vinyl.

I have tried normal laminates and the dry markers leave a mark.

I use the Metamark Drywipe laminate. I think it is also an anti graffiti film.
