    Hi All,
happy Monday! We have been getting lots of droplets of ink on prints recently on our Roland Sp540v. What do you think this is? Pump on the way out, or just needs new dampers and cap tops? Any help appreciated? i have attached some photos for reference.

    Cheers
    Dan

Had this on my 540v recently & found a build up of fluff stuck to the side of the head. I’d be inclined to change the cheap bits first, if it’s not cured then look at the pump but I’ve never had a pump fail, think that would be unlikely

Thanks Guys, have done a manual clean and will give it another go! Didn’t seem to be any fluff though. the foam pad is absolutely soaked so i have changed that as well.

    cheers

Hi Dan. I would defiantly say the heads need cleaning with a swab to clear any fluff or build up of ink. We get this occasionally and always solves the problem.
