looks like a reasonable price, but maybe I would do away with the two sets of speakers!, and get monitors with build in speakers.

    With 5 years on-site support it’s either a steal or there’s a catch.

    Cheers Peter,
When you say its a reasonable price, would you expect more for the money.

The 5 year Pro support is genuine, this is as far as I could push the balls in my court now.
Funny thing it cost to have the systems down graded to Xp.

I paid about the same a year ago, but 2x600gyg hd (raid)
no monitor but external backup drive so yes it looks a fair price especially with the back up service.
    Can I ask what make?

wouldnt bother with a high spec system for running a cutter, a 200 quid one would do the job just as good and spend as much as you can on the printer and design one, wouldnt be bothered by warranty, pc,s not hard to fix

Pc’s are not hard to fix, (but only if you are competent) I agree.
But its a bit like the million quid question, easy if you know the answer. but what you do need to be careful with is your data, first thing to think about with any system is BACKING IT UP
A good pc will run both the cutter and printer, so unless you have two operators, one good pc and a back up system may be an alternative

never a truer word peter, BACK UP, got stung a few times not doing, worst thing is its not hard, just takes a good routine!. I would still go for more than one PC though

Thanks for your comments Peter & Ian,
I have decided to look at one high spec system for design and versacam work, and use the pc I have currently running the versacam for the cx24.

    Regards
