Does anyone make a machine that applys application film
Might be a daft question but other than a set of rollers, is there a machine that will apply your application film to your vinyl easier than by hand or has it got to be by hand.
I struggle with some of the vinyls I cut which are often 2000 – 4000mm length x 600mm wide and its a real pain to ensure they get mounted to application film perfectly ….. surely someone must have invented a machine to aid this process by now.

A laminator does the job admirably.
But maybe, for occasional use, an ordinary application tape dispenser would be better.

whats your thoughts on the manual laminators that you can get for laminating photography etc.

First of all, hello from finland to everyone. Few weeks ago i bought this : http://www.biedermanngmbh.com/rolllam/120-160.jpg for applying application tape, i can also use it to laminate with heat. I already got 110cm cold laminator machine which i use with my sp-300v roland to laminate, but i needed that extra width to use full size application tapes.
Sorry if my english is in rust, first time in ages i have to write it 🙂Main purpose for that new 140cm laminator is for applying that application tape, i just thought that when my sp-300v becames too small, the laminator machine works in future with wider machines.
The reason for buying it was that in future, i´ll have to cut 1-3 full size rolls in a week. Applying that application tape by hand would be suicide.
