    Hey peeps
    I have had a cutomer on the phone who has come to me as his signwriting co has let him down. He keeps going on about 2001 gloss white blah blah…anyone have the remotest idea what he is going on about…I could just put it down to a colour reference….but….??

    It aint a RAL number that ref is an orange shade 🙄

    the only 2001 I know off is avery 2001 digital media? could be anything

    They probably mean Palite 2001, a white gloss foam product from the 90’s which had a gloss capping on a foam PVC sheet. White was OK as it was a white cap on white foam PVC, but colours were a coloured cap over white, which never really caught on. Equivalent now are products like Foamalux Ultra.

    airedale was right! Phoned NE Plastics and they confirmed what he said was true….it was a reference to a gloss foamex product which they had another name for.
